INTRODUCTION (TO ALL GROUPS; PBI 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6)

Hi Folks

My name is Muhammad Yaumi. I'm a faculty member of Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN-Alauddin) Faculty of Education, English Education Department. I teach undergraduate courses in "an introduction of linguistics, methodology of English language teaching, educational media, phonology, morphology and Syntax, reading, English for specific purposes, grammar, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, and CALL.

I'm a former head of language center at Handayani college and a coordinator of language laboratory at UIN-Alauddin. I'm also a former director of Fatiya Publishing Com. and Fatiya Education foundation. My research interests include distance education, E-learning, integrating technology into English language teaching, and integrated learning theory, Instructional strategies, methods, etc. His books are English for Islamic Studies (2004), English in Use: a Practical Way to Reach English Fluency in Speaking (2003), A Guide to an English Meeting Program (2000), and English for Children (1995), Pembelajaran Berbasis Kecerdasan Jamak, Dimensi-dimensi Teoretis Pendidikan Karakter.
