Today's teachers are developing new and exciting means of integrating language, writing, and literature with innovative technologies. Teaching English with technology may assumed that computer is the main idea of said that .Computers and language teaching have walked hand to hand for a long time and contributed as teaching tools in the language and second language classroom..by computer, Students can use the Internet, electronic databases, access book and other online sources to gather information.
So, as long as I see that tewt produce as much as goodness and real progress for learners

BalasHapusI agree with my beloved sister said that, why??I think learning English through technology is very important, because we know that in the modern era, development of increasingly sophisticated technology, and we are as a person who deals in the field of education should not be missed from the name of technology. But the problem here is that not
all teachers can take advantage of available technology, due to lack of knowledge and training in using these technologies.
And talking about Language, society and culture that have relation to one another, because in every society has a distinct language and culture, so in addition we have to learn the language we must also learn the culture so that no misunderstandings of each other.we can avoid the stereotip,because the language not just spoken language but also we use unspoken language or called gesture. each gesture has specific meaning,so we have to understand it so the people don't be offended with us.i think that's all,thanks.wassalam..

BalasHapuswell, I strongly agree with your statement, learning to use computers is essential for the present, especially for language teachers. why do I say this because we see that the language requires a tool to help distribute the language. technology is important in fighting that through this language can be channeled to circumnavigating the globe, and this technology also helps teachers to access materials that will be taught so that's why technology is needed in the present.

BalasHapusand syakira : we have to see first thah teaching english with technology (TEWT) is hardly has a good relation if we would talk about computer also, so then, i explain hom TEWT is happening because of the exisisting of computer .
for the end of that i take a summary that TEWT has taken a good contribution on computing for learning language like english ... like that ....

BalasHapusTalking about language,society and culture have relation each other. But we know that many problems appear because of this relation,such as Stereotype,ethnocentrism,misunderstanding and others. So could you explain to us how to overcome the cultural problems that occur in “Language Society and Culture”?
The second group said that Teaching English with technology may assumed that computer is the main idea of said that . We really agree about it because both teacher and students can do anything about their job/assignment easily with computer. the next problem appear that many teacher do not understand about technology such as using computer. but we think that never say late to study, there are many way to learn anything such as using computer for the teacher who doesn’t know the using of computer. so we still agree with the second group.

I'll explain just that I know about those. to overcome those problems, we have to know not only about their language but also we have understood the culture of the each area or each country. so we have avoided from misunderstanding. we can't bring our own culture into the other country,because they have different culture with ours.so we can't be selfish,we have to get their culture and their language well. thanks...

BalasHapuswe think today's technological advances have given us a good impact in carrying out various activities such as learning and teaching proses. We are as teachers use technology such as computers and the Internet can give good impact to the students. Because they not only get knowledge from the teacher but they can seek knowledge in other places like on the internet. But we as teachers must control our students in using them because they sometimes do things outside of the learning process.
By using a computer is one of learning media, it can improve students' interest in learning where they will not get bored with the same method of learning every day.
In our ideas that language, society, and culture. We can not separate them because they relate to each other. For example when we live in another country, we not only have to know how the language they use but we also need to know how the people there and how their culture. Do not let us do something outside of their culture that can lead to misunderstanding.

BalasHapusTeaching English by using technology is one of the modern ways that we as a new generation have to know about that. It is the best method to learn more about English because by that, we didn’t need to worry whether the teachers’ pronunciation or the teachers’ grammar is right or still need improvisation because they are not the native. Right now by using technology, we can meet via skype or other applications which can connect us directly with the native speaker.
BalasHapusAnd about the language, society, and culture are related one each other. In studying English, we not only need to study about the language, but we also have to study about their culture which valid in the society. Sometimes if we go to the region where we know that language well, but we do not really understand about their culture, I am sure that misunderstanding will appear in the society. It occurs because we bring our culture to another region where their society there couldn’t understand our culture. It is because we only learn about the language without learning the culture in that society.
