http://scholar.google.com/. Actually we have used this link before but it still makes us very confused to use it. We are sure that when you use it in first time you will be confused too. We think that this link is just for university students because it is very difficult to use it. It is like as google generally which looks for something. Spesificly, this site is just for seaching articles, journal, and other which is used in academic writing. And this site is difficult for beginner of other countries that doesn’t use english as their language because in this site is full english and the vocabularies are too high for beginner to know what the article, journal, etc mean. And the last about download article/journal/etc. We don’t know how to download in this site. Totally, it is very difficult to use this site for us.
www.calico.org. This site is about Calico (Computer-Assisted Language Instruction Consortium). Calico is an international organization dedicated to research and development in the use of computer technology in language learning: computer-assisted language learning (CALL) so this site is for helping us who wanted to use of computer technology in language learning. When we opened it firtly. It’s so simple in design. And use many language there. When we check it around, we look at the same thing, that is scholarship in call. But when you click it actually it is the good information but you surely think that the word is too flat and it is very boring design to see it. In CALICO, there are many organisations inside of it so when you want to discuss or something else. Just visit the organisation wth click the pointed word. And if you want to know more, you are pleasurely invited to join as member there.
http://llt.msu.edu/. This site tells about language learning and technology (LLT).LLT Sponsored by the National Foreign Language Resource Center (NFLRC) at the University of Hawai’i and the Center for Language Education and Research (CLEAR) at Michigan State University. It is often to tell us about the group of LLT like aims and scope, general guidelines for contributors. But we surely don’t know how to make this site as our references to help us in looking for references in learning/teaching CALL.

    1. http://scholar.google.com/.
I agree with 6th group that this search engine is difficult to use. I tried to search “English games”, I opened one of it and then I directed to a site which contains a pdf article that I look for, but the problem was it had to be paid. Oh, come on… I prefer to my favorite article search engine, that is “brupt.com”. I can search and download articles for completely free, and I even got the same article with the one from http://scholar.google.com/ for free.

    2. www.calico.org.
I couldn’t find more information than the 6th group found about this site, actually the 6th found more than I did. This site is too confusing that makes me don’t know what kind of site is this. I know this site is devoted to research and development of technology in second language acquisition, but the question is what will I get from this site? I couldn’t find any articles or resources to help me in English. I read the “membership benefits”, and for me those are not benefits because I still have to pay for the articles whereas I can find similar or even the same articles for free.

I found what the 6th group can’t. This site is truly confusing because the articles placement is not common because they place the articles in the “issues” menu. The issues are the articles about LLT (Language Learning and Technology) including CALL. They more look like thesis (probably it truly is) from around the world, we even can submit our thesis or our research articles there. One point plus for this site is we can download the thesis for free in .pdf format, but only for limited pages. We can learn how to teach using new method with technology using from those research, it will be very helping for teachers.
