BalasHapusTeaching English is not really an easy job. It needs a lot of preparations including teaching and learning materials, medias, creativity, and enough experiences. That provides teachers either need to prepare their teaching materials or learning medias. Nowadays, teaching perhaps does nor work well if the teachers only serve conventional methods ( Traditional Teaching Methods ) including speech, teacher centered, and monotom teaching. Those all temporary methods are not effective enough achieveing learning goals factually. In contarily, students mostly need interesting teaching, exciting instruction. Therefore teachers in general are required to serve their students modern and interestable method. According to Piaget “ Learning must be interesting to stimulate students’ attention”. This theory is lately outstanding with ( Stimulus – Response ) concept. In this briliant concept, Piaget stated that to make students give response to materials learnt they need stimulus first. if the teachers have already stimulated their students, the students mostly will give their response or their feedback including paying much attention, being active enough, and soon effects. Consequently, teachers have to make the class interesting and enjoyable. This case, a required alternative to teachers for making interesting and cooperating learning is using technology as learning media or tool. Using techonology as media is not only a theory or assumption this early century but it has been famous and success learning media. For instance, students and teachers in some progressing countries have used this method, as the result, the learning process can be effective as well as eficient. Proudly, teaching through technology is being applied in our country now. In this comment, Let our group conduct our discuccion by providing several significances of using technology in pedagogical process.

BalasHapusFrom your opinion, I can conclude that the technology has a big influence to make the learning process be effective.
But we know that there are some schools that located in the subburb area . So, it's very difficult to use modern technology such as internet there.This condition can make the student left behind.
my question is, How to solve this problem ?

I am agree with the first group that by using computer to learn about language specially English language make the students interest to learn..

BalasHapusExcuse me,let me answer St.Hartina' question.To St.Hartina: I'm Nur Alim/PBI 5 (the 4th group). In my mind, learning process can be running effectively although the schools located in the subburb area, I said that because the learning process determined by the teacher. How she/he mastering the material, has a good strategy or teaching method, understanding the student's culture, mastering technology, etc.. Then, I have read that technology does not always improve the student's ability, because it must be equivalent between curriculum and technology based on the teaching instruction. The most important thing that the teachers should be have is motivation. Because it can be help them how to teach their students goodly. In other that it can be accepted by the students goodly, too. thanks.

Cyber Teaching (Pengajaran Maya) has been improved into the some teaching strategies based on the technology it self. They are: CBT (Computer Based Training), CBI (Computer based instruction), Distance Learning, Distance education, CLE (Cybernetic Learning Environment), Desktop Videoconferencing, ILS (Integrated Learning System), LCC (Learner-Centered Classroom), Teleconferencing, WBT (Web-Based Training) and our beloved subject is CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning). thanks.

It's really attractive discussion.
Technology in this epoque has become one of the important things in our life.
If we focus in education, actually all my friends know that technology has given us easy of source materials. As a teacher is demanded to use technology as one of teaching method. But in the reality there are many teachers is advantage in years. It is very complicated for them to use technology moreover to access the website. So, What are you solution to solve this problem??
