after reading all the materials in the unit 5, we will tell you about what we got in it. here we go...
BalasHapusthere are 8 aspects (listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and culture) in this unit. the unit talks about call and the relation to the language skills. the first one is about listening and speaking, the webs of these two skill is quiet similar. the web provides materials to practice our listening and speaking skill. they have some stages then we can use based on our ability. but the problem is the tools to get the materials from the web. we got a little problem about those things. seems like it difficult to download. the next is about reading and writing. on the writing webs, sometimes we got reading materials provided with the audio so we can know how to read it well, and it's really helpful for the teacher. in addition the writing webs have a game, it's like we put the right word to the blank part. it's completed with the clue so it's easy to play the game, children may. the next one is about grammar pronunciation, and vocabulary skill. the grammar web has the applied grammar completed with some quizzes. we can use it directly as the material to teach. the pronunciation web provides program for us to listen the right pronounce of a word, we can record our voice and compare it to the best one. in the vocabulary web, we got special digital dictionary which is really nice. some of them have the translation so we can know the translation of a word. the last one about culture, culture is one of an important part of a language. we can find how the different culture influences the language. the teacher is important to know it for delivering to their students. some material about how to teach culture found in the web. thanks

This post describes the eight aspects (listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and culture) in this post also talked about the calls related to language skills. This post provides material for training listening and speaking skills. And this website will teach reading and writing. Write off the net, we have reading materials provided with the audio so that we can know how to read very well, and it would be beneficial for teachers. In addition to net write have the game, such as the words to put in the blank. It comes with instructions that are easy to play game. Later on grammar pronunciation, and vocabulary skills. In the post vocabulary, has explained the special digital dictionary is really nice. Some of them have a translation so that we can know the translation of the word. to Muktadir, thanks for question. talking about advantages and disadvantages of the web, we found so many advantages as we have explained above. something like the easy way to get material for teaching. in addition we got some new method in teaching or learning skills. about the advantages, we prepare saying it problems, not disadvantages, ummm.. we may find some problem like how to get and use the program in the web, we need special tool and something like internet connection. thanks a lot

thanks for explanation of the fifth group, good job! I have opened some features of www.manythings.org that complete some skill included speaking, listening, writing, reading and addition features that support those skill such us grammar, slang, learn song or provide some mp3 and videos which support material of those skill. especially for learn song, i have practice " twinkle-twinkle" and it's nice and interesting application. Nevertheless,commonly,this web only provide excercise or quiz and especially for grammar feature, we just find a little material about grammar.But generally this web is very helpful in learning and teaching process.

I have saw this web and I VERY INTERESTING especially for the game to increase our writing ability , we put the right word to the blank part. Firstly I'd like to say thank you very much for the fifth group for the explanation about the websites in chapter 5. Actually, I got the same problem with the fifth group, yeah, the conection problem. That's why I can't acces the website. But after reading the initial posting I can understand what are the functions of the websites and how useful they are in enhancing the eight aspects (listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and culture).

i just want to say that www.manythings.org is very usefull for us, as a candidate of teacher we can use this site to teach our students very well.. and also good for student if they want learning english although without their teacher...
